Iredell Health System announced today that they will hold several events
beginning in September and continuing through the month of October to
raise awareness on the prevention of breast cancer and to raise money
for the Iredell Memorial Mammography Fund for area women.
On Saturday, September 26, a Festival of Tables will be held at South River
Baptist Church located at 2659 S. Chipley Ford Road in Statesville. Tickets
are $15 and include dinner, entertainment and a silent auction.
"Anyone can sign up to decorate their own table at the festival of
tables," explained Lois Beckett, RTRM, coordinator at Iredell Health
System's Women's Health Center. "It's a fun event and
raises money for a good cause."

On Saturday, October 3, the Friends for Women's Health will hold the
second annual Pink Party at the Statesville Country Club. The event provides

On Tuesday, October 13, the third annual 5K Mammogram Fund Run/Walk will
begin at the Women's Health Center on the campus of Iredell Memorial
Hospital. Register at

Join us Thursday and Friday, October 29 and 30 for PJ's Clothing &
Accessories Sale in the café Conference Room at Iredell Memorial
Hospital. Everyone is invited to attend and 10 percent of the proceeds
are donated to the Mammography Fund.
Iredell's Mammography Fund serves women in need in Iredell and the
