Statesville/Mooresville, NC – Back pain is largely responsible for
disrupting daily routines, causing many people to miss work and diminishing
their overall quality of life, according to Peter Miller, MD, PhD. As
a neurosurgeon at Iredell NeuroSpine, Miller sees patients regularly who
are desperate for relief and longing to gain some sense of normalcy again.
Many people, though, aren’t aware of the variety of methods now
available to help alleviate their pain. That’s why Miller is offering
a free, educational seminar on back pain in October, called “Back
Pain & BBQ: Stopping the Back Pain that’s Stopping Your Life.”
The seminar will address causes of back pain, types of treatment available,
and next steps for determining appropriate treatment plans.
“Almost everyone at some time in their life will experience episodes
of back pain,” Miller said. “The latest advancements in medicine
can provide relief from pain more safely and effectively than ever before.
If you’re suffering from back pain, know that help is available.”
“Back Pain & BBQ” will be held at two different locations:
- October 17 from 6 to 8 pm at the Statesville Civic Center, 300 S. Center
Street, Statesville NC
- October 24 from 6 to 8 pm at the Springhill Suites by Marriot, 121 Gateway
Blvd., Mooresville NC
