Our Staff

Dr. David Cash has been practicing family medicine in Statesville for more than two decades.

He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina Hospitals Medical School in Chapel Hill. He completed his internship and residency at Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke, VA. He is Board certified by the American Board of Family Practice.

In November 2016, upon his retirement after more than 16 years of serving on the Iredell-Statesville Board of Election, Dr. Cash was named to The Order of the Long Leaf Pine, the highest civilian award given in North Carolina.

Kacie Teeter, PA-C

Kacie Teeter joined Statesville Family Practice in 2007 after earning her Master’s Degree in Medical Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies.

She grew up in Statesville and is dedicated to improving the health of the community she calls home. She provides preventative care and chronic disease management for conditions such as diabetes and hypertensive heart disease.

Kacie is an active member of her church and a volunteer at Statesville Christian School. She and her husband, Kyle, have two daughters. She enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with her children.

Jessica Wood, FNP-BC

Jessica Wood is a native of the Statesville area and joined Statesville Family practice in 2009. She worked as a registered cardiac nurse for seven years before earning her Master of Science degree and completing the nurse practitioner program at Western
Carolina University.

She has also trained other nurses along the East Coast on how to use specifc medical devices in treating and monitoring their patients.

She enjoys reading, cooking, and entertaining family and friends. She and her husband have 4 children, including triplets.
