Jeffrey A. Katz, PA-C, DFAAPA
Mr. Katz is a graduate of Queens College of the City University of New
York and the physician assistant program offered at Catawba Valley Community
College through the physician assistant program of the Bowman-Gray School
of Medicine of Wake Forest University. He joined the practice in 1995.
He has been in practice since 1979. Mr Katz is a Distinguished Fellow
of the AAPA.
He believes in a family centered approach to health care. Having practiced
in the area for over 25 years, he treats multiple generations of families
from newborns to great grandparents. He is passionate about ways to improve
health care and has worked with both his state and national PA professional
organization for many years. He currently serves as President-elect on
the American Academy of Physician Assistants Board of Directors and also
serves as the Medical Director for Carolina AccessCare for Alexander County.
He and his wife, Melanie, have two grown children and four beautiful grandchildren.
They enjoy cooking, hiking and traveling.
