The pulmonary rehab program consists of individualized exercise training,
nutritional counseling, and education on lung disease. Patients learn
how to manage their conditions, techniques to help conserve their energy,
breathing strategies, tobacco cessation, psychological counseling and/or
The multidisciplinary program will be tailored to individual patients with
a chronic respiratory impairment such as Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary
Disease (COPD), emphysema, chronic bronchitis, Bronchiectasis, Sarcodosis,
pulmonary hypertension, pulmonary fibrosis, interstitial lung disease,
lung cancer and lung cancer surgery.
Pulmonary Rehab patients will benefit by having fewer disease symptoms.
This will enable them to function better in daily life, increase their
ability to exercise, which also helps patients manage anxiety and depression.
A Team Approach
In pulmonary rehab, we treat not just the heart, but the whole person whose
disease has affected all aspects of life. Our team of specialists will
work with you to prescribe rehab therapy to suit your individual needs.
You will be monitored by the following persons:
- Registered Nurses
- Exercise Physiologist
- Exercise Specialist
- Respiratory Therapist
- Licensed Counselor
Once you choose a class, those class days and times are reserved for you.
Monday & Wednesday or Tuesday & Thursday
9:00 AM, 11:00 AM. and 1:00 PM
Please plan to arrive 10 minutes before your class begins.

Medicare, Medicaid, and most commercial insurance carriers provide reimbursement.
For those who qualify, Vocational Rehabilitation assistance is available.
