Iredell Health System Welcomes New VP of Nursing/Patient Care Services


(Statesville, NC – December 1, 2014) – Iredell Health System has named Rebecca (Becky) Quate as Vice President of Nursing and Patient Care Services at Iredell Memorial Hospital.

"For the last 60 years, we have been known for our high-quality, compassionate nursing care," said Ed Rush, CEO for Iredell Health System. "I'm confident that under Becky's leadership, our nursing excellence will continue far into the future."

Quate has over 20 years of hospital experience. She most recently served as Director of Nursing and Patient Care Services for Cone Health at Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington, NC. She began her career as a staff nurse in the Neuro/Trauma Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro and has held many leadership positions in between.

She received her Master of Science degree in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She is currently pursuing her doctoral nursing practice degree in executive leadership and anticipates graduating in 2015.

Quate is a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives, a member of the North Carolina Organization of Nurse Leaders, and Chi Alpha Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau – Nursing Honor Society. She was also a "Great 100 Nurse Recipient," and president of the Siler City Rotary Club.
