(Statesville, NC – May 29, 2014) – Iredell Health System announced today that the Iredell Wound Care &
Hyperbaric Center received the Robert A. Warriner III, M.D., Center of
Excellence award, because it has met the Center of Distinction quality
standards for two consecutive years. This Center has achieved patient
satisfaction rates over 92%, a greater than 91% healing rate in 30 median
days, among other quality standards.
The Center was awarded this prestigious honor by Healogics, Inc., the nation's
largest provider of advanced wound care services with three centers in
NC receiving this award. Iredell Wound Care & Hyperbaric center is
the only center in Iredell and surrounding counties to receive this award.

The Iredell Wound Care & Hyperbaric Center offers highly specialized
wound care to patients suffering from diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers,
infections and other chronic wounds which have not
healed in a reasonable amount of time. Advanced treatments included hyperbaric
oxygen therapy, negative pressure wound therapy, bio-engineered skin substitutes,
biological and biosynthetic dressings and growth factor therapies.
