Iredell Health System is pleased to announce five new directors to its
staff. Each individual brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in
their particular fields, including cardiology, radiology, home health,
human resources and telemetry. These new directors will oversee operations
in each of their departments, shape policies, encourage innovation and
support the Iredell Health System mission to inspire wellbeing.
Mark Frazier, MBA(c), BSN, RN, CCRN — Director of 2 North Mark Frazier has in-depth knowledge and leadership
experience in intensive care and postintensive care. He previously held
leadership roles in the Critical Care and Cardiovascular Specialty Units
at CaroMont Regional Medical Center. He also worked with cardiovascular
patients recovering from surgery at Novant Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte
and helped to develop a tool to identify high risk patients on admission.
Frazier holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Winston Salem State
University and will be graduating with a Master of Business Administration
degree from Queens University in Charlotte in December 2017.
Harry “Skip” Meador — Director of Cardiovascular Services Harry “Skip” Meador
has an extensive background in cardiovascular care. He previously served
as Director of Cardiovascular Services and Vice President of Cardiovascular
and Neuroscience Services at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital in Lynchburg,
Virginia. Meador received his Master of Business Administration and his
Master of Health and Hospital Administration from Xavier University in
Edward Morgan — Director of Radiology Edward Morgan comes to Iredell Health System
from DeKalb Medical Center in Decatur, Georgia where he served as director
of Imaging Services. Morgan received his Bachelor of Science in Healthcare
Management from Boise State University in Boise, Idaho, and his Associate
of Applied Science in Radiology Technology from Tallahassee Community
College in Tallahassee, Florida. He is registered by the American Registry
of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and is a Certified Radiology Administrator (CRT).
Cindy Smale — Director of Human Resources Cindy Smale is an accomplished Human
Resources manager, and most recently held the position of Director of
Human Resources at Livingston Regional Hospital in Livingston, Tennessee.
Prior to that, she was Vice President of Human Resource and Support Services
at Indiana University Health Bedford Hospital in Bedford, Indiana. She
received her Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management from Oakland
City University in Oakland City, Indiana, and has earned certifications
from the Society of Human Resource Management and from the Human Resource
Ronette Starnes, MSN, MHA — Executive Director of Iredell Home Health Ronette Starnes has comprehensive
experience in home health management and leadership. She most recently
held the position of Director of Clinical Management at Gentiva Home Health
in Hickory. Her prior experience includes that of Nurse Consultant for
the North Carolina Division of Health Services Regulation (Home Health
Licensure and Certification section) and home health clinical management
at Catawba County Home Health. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing
and Master of Health Administration degrees from the University of North
Carolina at Charlotte.
