Animal Shelter Receives Christmas Gift from Iredell Health Employees

Cats and dogs at the Iredell County Animal Shelter will have more food, warm blankets and toys for the holidays, thanks to Iredell Health System employees. The Health System's Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation department recently collected donations for the shelter for the second Christmas season in a row.
The animal shelter donation drive is a "pet project" for the cardiopulmonary rehab staff, many of whom have their own furry friends at home. This year they received donations from employees in other departments to add to the pile of food and supplies as well. The Cardiopulmonary Rehab team plans to expand their animal shelter donation drive with more drop off sites at Iredell Memorial Hospital next year. Anyone who would like to donate to the shelter or to adopt an animal can find more information at https://www.co.iredell.nc.us/149/Animal-Services-Control.
