Iredell Health System welcomes Kristie Smith, MSN, FNP, as its newest full-time nurse practitioner at Iredell Family Medicine. She will work alongside Jodi N. Stutts, MD, and Lori Sumner, PA-C, at the Mooresville office.

Smith graduated from Eastern Kentucky University earning an Associate of Science in Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Science in Nursing, and Family Nurse Practitioner certificate.

Smith has worked for 12 years as a family nurse practitioner. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Kentucky Coalition of Nurse Practitioners.

“My approach to medical care emphasizes preventive and holistic care,” Smith said.
