Iredell Health System is inviting the public to join them in celebrating National Heart Month by holding an open house at its Iredell Heart & Vascular Center on Thursday, Feb. 21 from 6:30 pm to 8 pm.

The event will feature a brief presentation by award-winning cardiologist Charles Deberardinis, DO, as well as free blood pressure screenings, a hands-only CPR demonstration, heart healthy tips for nutrition and exercise, information on early heart attack symptoms, and more. Attendees will also have an opportunity to tour the Center, which includes the cardiac catheterization lab – an area often not seen by members of the public unless they are being treated in the lab. Light refreshments will also be served.

The Iredell Heart & Vascular Center is located inside Iredell Memorial Hospital on the second floor. Guests are invited to use the main entrance of the hospital and take the elevator in the main lobby to the second floor. Iredell Memorial is located at 557 Brookdale Drive, Statesville, NC.
