Iredell Memorial Health Records Now Available on Apple Health

Thursday, December 12, 2019

Patients who receive healthcare at Iredell Memorial Hospital can now access their health information through the Apple Health app, an easy way to organize and keep track of personal health data.

The Apple Health app consolidates data from other third-party apps, a user’s iPhone — and even Apple Watch — and allows patients to see all of their health records, including lab results, immunizations, medications and more, in one place. Once the Apple Health app is set up on a user’s device, it automatically updates health records, eliminating the need to use multiple apps to view health data and personal trends.

The Apple Health app comes preinstalled on Apple devices running iOS 8 or higher. To access your health information through Apple Health, patients must first set up a patient portal account. From there, they can link the two apps together. For detailed instructions on setting up the app on a device, go to iredellhealth.org/patients-and-visitors/patient-portal/.
