Iredell Home Health has operated since 1974 as a certified, accredited nonprofit agency providing home healthcare for people of all ages who are homebound due to illness, injury or disability.
Home healthcare can be an appropriate alternative to hospitalization or nursing home placement. In many cases home healthcare is an excellent solution to meet the needs of homebound patients. With Iredell Home Health the patient can receive quality affordable healthcare in the comfortable and familiar surroundings of home.
Our trained staff can help determine the suitability of providing care in the home. We listen carefully to the wishes and needs of the patient and family care providers—then consult with the patient's doctor to determine your need for home healthcare. A plan of care is individualized for the patient as we follow his or her physician's orders. Our team of professionals works to ensure that the patient's needs are met—whether they require specialized nursing, therapy to regain lost skills, or assistance with daily living.
We know family members can't always be available to care for a loved one, and many simply do not have the skills needed to provide specialized care.

We also offer a complete line of medical supplies. Any or all of our services are available to meet the patient's healthcare needs as ordered by his or her physician.
Availability
Nursing and physical therapy services are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week for skilled care. Assistance with post-operative, wound care and other services is provided seven days a week by Medicare certified staff. All other services are available Monday through Friday unless special arrangements are made.
Payment
We will work with patients to determine the appropriate method of payment. We can file Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, VA, workers' Compensation and other sources. It is our mission to provide quality healthcare to all, regardless of anyone's ability to pay.
